Project four: The box of Uncertainties – part 2

Question and Intervention

How can I effectively encourage people to exercise their human senses in an online dominated world?

Many considers that our phones are a powerful tool, I can not disagree with that; we feel the world literally in our hands, from buying essentials to paying our bills. Anytime we can talk and see our friends and family across the world, but so often we see our precious hours disappear in the rabbit hole of endless content. It makes me think, can we use this tool to bring us to the present moment? Something to instigate curiosity and connect us in the real world? How to break this barrier? How to connect with our surrounding space and people? So I decided to combine two passions of mine: Street Art and Crafts.

Street art is a way to communicate with pedestrians, its incites curiosity. how many people will look at your piece and think: what is that? and be curious enough to grab their phones (that is probably in hand) and scan the code? Will people thrust on this experiment?
